Coca-Cola Indonesia is continuing its PET plastic bottle recycling program for the fifth consecutive year, in collaboration with Grab, the recycling facility PT Amandina Bumi Nusantara, the Mahija Parahita Nusantara Foundation, and BenihBaik.com. Under this program, consumers who collect a minimum of 12 empty bottles of any Coca-Cola product can exchange them for OVO e-wallet balance. For each collected bottle, Coca-Cola donates IDR 1,000 to support waste collectors (pemulung) through its social partners. The program runs from November 21, 2025, to February 27, 2026, and is available in Jabodetabek, Bandung, Semarang, and Bali (Badung).
This initiative reflects Coca-Cola’s commitment to reducing packaging waste and promoting a community-based circular economy. The collected bottles are sent to Mahija Collection Centers and then processed by Amandina into recycled PET (rPET), which is reused to produce new bottles. The program not only provides economic benefits to participants and waste collectors but also strengthens environmental awareness and public participation in recycling efforts. [2] Source:
