Foxconn Accelerates Green Supply Chain, Targets 45 Suppliers Using 100% Renewable Energy by 2025

Foxconn is intensifying its use of renewable energy, aiming for 100% green energy across its global facilities by 2040. In its latest sustainability report, the company set targets for suppliers to reach net-zero emissions by 2050, with a 42% carbon reduction by 2030.
In 2023, Foxconn helped 186 suppliers complete carbon audits, resulting in a reduction of 484,000 tons of CO2. The company also evaluated the ESG performance of 150 key suppliers, with 75 of them being critical to its operations. By the end of 2023, 24 major suppliers had committed to using renewable energy, with a goal of reaching 45 suppliers by 2025. Foxconn’s renewable energy usage exceeded 40% in 2023, with a target of 50% by 2030.
