Premier Cho Jung-tai chaired the 36th National Sustainable Development Committee meeting, emphasizing the government’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. The 2025 central budget allocates NT$116.1 billion, with a total of NT$900 billion planned by 2030 to accelerate green energy, energy storage, and energy efficiency.

Taiwan’s climate mission aligns with the 2023 Climate Change Response Act and the 12 key strategies for a green transition.
