BRIN Optimistic About Autonomous Electric Vehicle Research Supporting Smart City Development in IKN

The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) is optimistic that autonomous EV research will support Indonesia’s policy to implement smart city concept in the new capital city (IKN). The plan includes a smart, emission-free, shared, and autonomous transportation system.

Autonomous EV research is part of BRIN’s focus on advanced mechatronics, aiming to assist SMEs, tech-based industries, and society in keeping up with global technological advancements. Mechatronics integrates mechanical, electronic, and computer technologies to create intelligent, adaptable systems.

AI, IoT, and big data are crucial for creating more efficient and adaptive products and systems. AI helps improve efficiency, analyze complex datasets, and support smarter decision-making.

BRIN emphasizes openness to collaboration with universities and industries in smart mechatronics development. The conference encourages participants to exchange new ideas, research, and innovative solutions.

The Conference aims to promote transformative innovations in AI, robotics, and IoT for sustainable technological advancements.
