Our Taiwan-Indonesia Science and Technology Innovation Center (STIC) delegates visited the Indonesian National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in Bandung on February 19th. Accompanying us on this visit were CEO Mr. Lin Pei-Yang, and Mr. Huang Tzyy-Chang, COO of P-Waver Company. We were honored to be received by Dr. Adrin Tohari, Director of the Geological Disaster Research Center at BRIN, and Dr. Franto Novico, Earth Scientist, during the first meeting.
During the meeting, Dr. Adrin Tohari engaged in in-depth discussions and shared experiences and technologies related to earthquake early warning systems with P-Waver Company, expressing strong interest in collaboration and hoping to further understand about company's technology and cooperation opportunities.
In the second meeting, we were hosted by Dr. Widyarani and six other researchers of the Environmental and Clean Technology Research Center, where discussed topics such as wastewater treatment in tofu production areas in Sumedang City, environmental technology, and green technology with Professor JC Liu, Director of our center. We were also delighted to have the opportunity to visit a part of the research laboratory at BRIN, accompanied by Dr. Widyarani and her team.
Dr. Adrin Tohari and Dr. Widyarani pledged their full support for our Taiwan-Indonesia Science and Technology Innovation Center in every aspects. We invited then to come to the Taiwan Expo 2024 at Jakarta in May, and we sincerely hope to invite them to participate in future seminars in Taiwan.
