The 2024 Taipei International Industrial Automation Exhibition is in full swing, and Delta Electronics, Inc. has made a strong appearance under the theme "Decoding Low-Carbon Smart Manufacturing for a Sustainable Future." By leveraging AI computing to enhance data analysis, Delta introduced a new generation of green smart factory solutions and showcased the "DIATwin Virtual Machine Development Platform" ,an innovative digital twin platform developed in collaboration with NVIDIA using Omniverse.
Delta’s "DIATwin Virtual Machine Development Platform" constructs virtual equipment through software to test mechanical designs and process planning, utilizing AI to assist in generating optimized parameters. This process reduces automation equipment development time by approximately 20%, supports the entire product lifecycle, helps lower costs, and accelerates product time to market. Delta also displayed the innovative digital twin platform developed with NVIDIA using Omniverse, which virtually connects specific production lines and collects, integrates, and generates synthetic data from various equipment and systems to quickly train computer models, achieving 90% accuracy.
By introducing Delta's warehouse management system, labor allocation can be optimized, reducing warehousing and logistics costs by around 30%. The new "High-Speed Die Placement Solution" also helps improve semiconductor product yield by approximately 20%.
Delta is committed to providing a range of low-carbon manufacturing solutions. In 2023, its delivered inverters have helped customers save approximately 1.676 billion kWh of electricity, avoiding the emission of 6.3 million tons of CO2 during usage.
