Around the world, efforts are being made to reduce carbon emissions, and the construction industry is introducing "circular house" designs as a new sustainability strategy. This design reduces energy and resource consumption in homes and ensures that building materials can be reused after demolition, helping to mitigate the construction industry's challenge of reducing carbon emissions. Taiwan's leading paper company, YFY Inc., is not only promoting low-carbon and circular economy initiatives but has also recently introduced the low-carbon building Wikkelhouse from the Netherlands, creating the "Fully Circular House," which is 100% recyclable. The house's durability can last 50 to 100 years, setting a new standard for future buildings.
The minimalist Scandinavian-style Fully Circular House will make its debut in Taiwan. This building uses modules that are 1.2 meters wide, which can be combined to meet specific needs and adjusted according to individual requirements. Moreover, when the house is eventually discarded, both the building materials and furniture are 100% recyclable.
